What a beautiful sunny day we had at the Stapleford Park Luxe Wedding Event, all the more wonderful as the forecast had predicted grey skies and maybe even a spot or two of rain. Twenty wedding suppliers arrived through the gates that morning and made their way to the Orangery and Grand Hall. Flowers, cakes, dresses, albums and all manner of wedding loveliness were unpacked and carefully placed here, there and everywhere. I often wonder at which moment will everything just pop into place and become beautiful.
Covid meant many of us haven’t seen each other for over two years so there was plenty of catching up to do with old friends. It was so nice to welcome many new faces to our wedding fair family this year too.
The Stapleford Park Luxe Wedding Event happened on Sunday 03 April 2022. Our guests began to arrive bang on time at 11am and stepped into the Orangery, clasping their glasses of Stapleford fizz and taking in the sights and sounds of the event. And what a lovely event it was. A steady flow of couples came to see us that day and the sunshine meant guests could enjoy as much of the outside space Stapleford Park has to offer as the inside. The walled garden was a popular destination for a stroll, especially with the new lambs in energetic spring.
Tea was served in the Drawing Room with the sound of Xenia Horne’s harp floating high up into the magnificent ceiling of the Inner Hall and Saloon. The private dining room was set for dinner and both the Morning and Gilt Room were styled for a wedding ceremony.
There is a wonderful sense of calm at Stapleford Park and perhaps that’s one reason the venue is so very popular for weddings. It was a delight to meet both couples who are already planning their Stapleford Park wedding and couples new to the venue who were eager to explore the stunning house and grounds.
