Lucy & Joe’s Glam Marquee Wedding in Cambridgeshire

Lucy & Joe tied the knot with an outdoor May wedding hosted at their home farm. Opting for a marquee from Dottie’s Events & Hire, the couple successfully blended rustic charm with a touch of glam.

For the ceremony, a separate tent was filled with hay bales and rugs and the couple exchanged rings in front of a wooden arch backdrop decorated with large pampas grasses.

In the main marquee, sparkling chandeliers twinkled above the guests. An eclectic assortment of large glass jars and bottles displayed pampas grass and eucalyptus on the tables while bunny tails added a cute touch to the neutral table menus and linen. The semi naked cake was richly decorated with gold dusted cherries, blackberries, figs and blue berries.

Fashion statements came by way of Jimmy Choo, Gucci and Freya Rose. The bride wore two dresses during the day; a buttoned soft crepe backless gown with satin cummerbund and pearl loops on the train. For the evening she changed into a sparkly, nude, pearl encrusted gown with plunging neckline.
