Amelia & Alfie at The Old Vicarage Hotel, Nottinghamshire

A classic, elegant white on white theme for Amelia & Alfie’s minimalist wedding at The Vicarage Boutique Hotel, Nottingham.

Amelia carried a pretty handtie of white roses with a white ribbon created by Florence & Hope Flower Studio. An abundance of white gypsophila framed the band stand, billowing out of large white urns. In the cool ambience of The Orangery, more gypsophila trailed across the top table whilst cloth-less wooden tables were decorated with white linen napkins, olive runners, posy vases, glass chargers and white pillar candles.

Tell us about your vibe and why you chose your venue? The vibe of the wedding we wanted was minimalist with a touch of elegance. We chose The Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel as every room was perfection. There wasn’t much we needed to add to make it feel like our dream wedding venue. As soon as we visited The Vicarage we were blown away by the attention to detail.

What was the most exciting part of your day? The most exciting part of the day was saying our own vows within the band stand outside. plus the weather was on our side; it was so sunny!

What’s your happiest memory from the day? The happiest memory of the day was having all our loved ones, friends and family having some amazing food. The tables had been decorated beautifully.

Do you have any planning advice or tips for other couples? We made sure to have a lot of small touches for our day which make the memory of the day even more special. I had a loved one’s photo on my flowers, I had some funky wording on the bottom of my shoes, I did all the place card names myself and we had a big jar of homemade doggy biscuits for our furry friends that couldn’t join us on the day.
