A huge aspect of wedding flowers for me is the 360 experience – textures, colours, movement, as well as scent. When you hand someone a bouquet the instinct is for them to always bury their nose in its centre and take a deep smell of the flowers. Unfortunately, a lot of modern roses these days have been engineered in such a way that they no longer have that beautiful, nostalgic fragrance. My designs use predominantly British-grown flowers (from very local growers), which means all roses in my bouquets will smell like roses!
