Fineshade Films are documentary style wedding photographers and filmmakers in Northamptonshire
As we approach the end of 2021 – and what a year it’s been – I invited some of our photographer friends to share their favourite photos from the year. Danielle Holden at Fineshade Films – yes, they offer wedding photography AND film for your double whammy – sent in these gorgeous shots picked from their stash of real weddings and styled shoots.
What’s their style?
The team, and that’s Danielle, Martin and Max, are based in Northamptonshire not far from Cambridgeshire, but will travel pretty much anywhere across the country to be at your side. They title themselves as ‘documentary style’ shooters which means they’ll take the traditional lineup shots if you want them, but their passion lies in capturing the ‘real’ moments of the day as they naturally unfold.
“We started out as a film production company back in 2017” Danielle explains “and this year our photography bookings have really grown and I’m personally finding it hard to decide which discipline I love more. Although can’t speak for Martin, who is skilled at both film and photography too.
While I love the movement and the endless flexibility to build a narrative involved in film, I really love the constraints of photography and the capacity to freeze a moment in time so purely.
The following images all mean something to us and signify the development of our skills and brand as 2021 has progressed. As 2021 progressed, so did Fineshade Films and we are itching to get stuck into 2022.”
