Rohiny wears a soft tulle ombre ruffle gown by Milia London
2020 was a tough year for all of us and we’d be lying if we said we hadn’t had some really down days during the Covid-19 pandemic. It goes without saying you probably have too. A chance for us all to ditch the blues for the fresh mint green of this ruffled gown by Milia London is therefore a welcome injection of colour to what has been a grey, depressing time for so many of us. Photographer Paula Walsh hit the city with her team to infuse a dash of socially distanced glamour to the deserted streets of London.
“As Covid-19 brought a halt to fashion runways, and street fashion we see at fashion week, we took to the streets ourselves and made London city our catwalk. The photoshoot was inspired by the beautiful scenery and architecture of the British Capitol. I wanted to show this gorgeous model wearing a couture dress wandering the streets of London, while the city stands still due to the pandemic. I also shot on a vintage film camera for a timeless aesthetic you can’t recreate with digital“
It was such an amazing experience being able to see London so empty and calm.
