Team ‘Nico and Tate’ flexed their creative muscles at Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire, for a shoot that is pure perfection.
Ever since this editorial shoot by Nico and Tate pinged its way into our inbox we’ve been crushing on the images. To say we’re a little obsessed is an understatement. Whittling down images from photo shoots is a hard enough job at the best of times, but this one was nigh on impossible as every shot screamed ‘look at me’ like a diva demanding the spotlight.
Natural vibes abound with pampas, cotton and palm. Concrete grey fabrics complement earthy hues while pops of pearl and floor length bows inject glossy glamour against a backdrop of pleated white drapes and whitewashed walls. Puffed sleeves, feathers and frothy layers of tulle work hand in hand with ‘go short’ and shorter still hemlines. The details, the tones; every frame is flawless.
If you’re a fashionista and fussy about what you put on your back, uber cool wedding dresses from Emma Beaumont Atelier and Miller White hit just the right vogue spot. Designed by Emma Beaumont and handmade at her atelier in Cheshire, every dress is “…certified to organic agricultural standards” so your conscience can feel as good as you look.
If trousers are your vibe, versatile pant suits and separates by Jan Si Bridal offer alternatives to the traditional dress option. These pieces will definitely take pride of place in your closet to be worn again and again (no once-worn boxed dress on top of the wardrobe for you!)
…we have created an editorial for the modern bride
Nico and Tate
“Un-veiled is a story of the unconventional bride.” Nikita, photographer and founder at Nico and Tate, tells us.
“It showcases a series of images set in a modern, industrial barn venue in the North West of England.”
“Our model is wearing sustainable pieces from up and coming designer Miller White, along with some incredible statement pieces from Emma Beaumont and minimal cool-girl suiting from Jan Si Studios.
“Using a mix of sustainable, ethical, handmade, organic, local, and natural pieces from artists, suppliers, and collaborators in the area, we have created an editorial for the modern bride.
The set is adorned with a beautiful pampas installation from an independent florist, along with huge dried palm leaves and dried bouquets to compliment the sustainable and contemporary feel.”
“The tablescape features an array of tonal, styled decor including brass candleholders, ribbed glassware, textured grey linens, and delicate dried foliage.”
“We intentionally collaborated with a variety of independent businesses to create this story. The dresses through to the stationery were carefully selected to connect and curate the vision for the shoot; bringing together a host of talented industry creatives to bring it to life.”
