We’ve known Natalie from Natalya James for many years having been proud to have her as a regular exhibitor at our wedding fairs in Northampton. We’ve seen her own label go from strength to strength over the years including her exciting debut at London Bridal Week this year. Natalie’s boutique in Wellingborough offers the best of both worlds for brides because alongside her own bespoke, designer dresses she also stocks wedding dresses from other renowned international bridal designers including Pronovias and Wendy Makin.
Natalie tells us more:
“Our bridal boutique is located in the beautiful Nene Court shopping area on the Embankment in Wellingborough Northamptonshire. Within the premises of our boutique is our studio where all Natalya James bridal pieces are carefully constructed by hand for each bride.

My passion for design began at an early age, first learning garment construction, embroidery and embellishment techniques from my mother, a professional embroiderer. Having grown up sewing, I have over 10 years experience in garment construction and set up my own business in order to create that perfect design, working with every client to create a garment which is unique and personal to each individual.”
The Natalya James label was initially launched as a bespoke bridal wear company but 2018 saw the launch of her debut ‘Mabel Alexandra’ collection. Having graduated with a masters in Fashion with Business on an MDes course at the University of Brighton, Natalya has gained experience in several high profile companies including Suzie Turner, Anna Sui and Diane Von Furstenburg in New York.
